Vertex Roofing & Exteriors Ltd. is a Calgary-based roofing and exterior contracting company founded by Gazi Shyti, a tradesperson with over 15 years of hands-on experience in Alberta’s construction industry. What started as a passion for quality craftsmanship in 2011 has grown into a fully incorporated, WCB-covered, and insured contracting business that Calgary homeowners and property managers trust with their most important investment—their homes.

Gazi Shyti began his career in the trades in 2011, working across residential and commercial roofing projects throughout Calgary and surrounding communities. After years of learning the craft, mastering safety protocols, and building a reputation for dependable workmanship, he incorporated as G.S Construction Ltd. on January 18, 2018, under Alberta’s Business Corporations Act (Corporate Access Number: 2020930224).
In January 2026, the company was officially rebranded as Vertex Roofing & Exteriors Ltd. through a Certificate of Amendment issued by the Government of Alberta. The new name reflects the company’s expanded scope of exterior services and its commitment to reaching the highest point—the vertex—of quality in everything we do.
